Neymar wants to return to Barcelona FC

"When those figures come up, though, it does mean someone does want to do something about it, and I believe Neymar has realised he is not in the right place to take him to the next level".

PSG club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has repeated on a number of occasions that the player is not for sale but it has emerged that for a fee of 400 million the Ligue 1 side would be prepared to let the striker return to LaLiga.

Neymar left the Catalan club in a world record move last summer but it is understood that he now has regrets about leaving the Blaugrana.

He is said to still have a good relationship with one of the coaches, who was at the club from 2014 to 2017.

"He is not a kid and he understands the strength that the team needs so that he can shine".

Indeed, Zinedine Zidane is doing nothing to quell the hysteria either, with Spanish paper AS splashing his comments on their front page.

It was quite evident that Neymar wanted to escape Lionel Messi's shadow to make an even bigger name for himself, and thus, traded the sure-shot chance to win major trophies for a possibility to win his first Ballon d'Or. "Neymar and the national team need each other. We aren't going to talk about suppositions".

However, reports must have surely suggested that Neymar is plotting a move back to Spain.

"With what they spend, the day that the Parisians have a complete organisation worthy of the club, they will go forward".

Diario AS reported this week that Barca's rivals Real Madrid have already told Neymar's father, who also serves as his manager, that they are willing to meet PSG's asking price of €400m.

Barca have important fixtures on the way, and must remain focused if they are to achieve glory in the near future.

Brazil's team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar confirmed the news to Brazilian media outlets with Neymar currently in Brazil recovering from surgery.
