Real Madrid line-up Premier League's star manager to replace Zinedine Zidane

Griezmann, who scored the equaliser in Atletico's 1-1 draw with Real Madrid on Sunday, has been heavily linked with Barcelona but strongly denied rumours claiming he had already agreed to join the La Liga leaders.

Real Madrid's hopes of three-peating remain highly promising after thumping last year's finalist Juventus 3-0 in Turin.

Zinedine Zidane's side are now four points behind second-placed Atletico and will close that gap with a win at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Portuguese has now scored 26 goals in his past 14 games for Real and Portugal - and 40 for his club this season in 37 matches.

"But in La Liga we grew up watching Barcelona, Real Madrid and Sevilla, not really Atletico Madrid, but I have been here for seven years and I feel like this is my home and I am happy here".

Zidane was referencing Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde's refused to give Real Madrid a guard of honour after they had won World Club Championship when the two sides met last December.

Partey is expected to play a key role for Atletico on Sunday, having been a regular feature of Diego Simeone's set-up this campaign. It's a pity because we had a lot of chances.

"I have had derbis when we were first, eighth, ninth.", he said.

"He didn't warm up because someone has to make these decisions and another player came on but that is in the past now and we have another game tomorrow and he's as prepared as anyone else", added Zidane. Then in the second, we got the goal, but they made it hard for us for 10 minutes after the goal and they levelled things up.

Meanwhile, Liverpool under Klopp have been impressive as they boast of one of the best attack in Europe's top five leagues.

"I understand that he is not in a good mood, that's normal", Zidane said. On Thursday, Atletico hosted Sporting in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinal.

"We have to do our work well and play a complete game".
